All players in 8U, 10U and 12U need to be registered by March1st after that there will be a $25 late fee.

All players in 14U and older need to be registered by April 1st or there will be a $25 late fee.

We need to adhere to these dates in order to have uniforms and equipment in time for the season to start

Pitching and Catching Clinic
Sundays - January, 22 & 29
February 5, 12, 19, 26

Coaches have decided not to split the players into two groups
therefore each week the clinic will be held from 1pm - 4pm

Monthly Newsletter: January

Is it possible that we are about to start a brand new year, it only seems like yesterday we were enjoying watching the girls play softball.

We (SVGSA) are planning for the 2012 season, with the start of pitching and catching clinics starting on January 8^th at 1 pm until 4pm. Any girl who wishes to participate in the clinic should contact any officer listed below by Wednesday, January 4^th, so that we can have enough equipment available for each girl. The first Sunday the girls will be divided in to skill appropriate groups, on the following Sundays each session will only last 1 ½ hours. There will be a total of 8 weeks of clinics, January 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd, 29^th, February 5^th, 12^th 19^th, 26^th.

See registration dates and times, and deadlines listed above. If you are aware of any girl that attends private school and lives in the SV school district, please let them know about registration.

The next parent’s meeting will be held on January 12, 2012 at 7pm in the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity (behind Burger King). All coaches and assistants should be in attendance, and anyone who is interested in helping with their daughter’s team. We will be discussing the upcoming clinics in March, a coaches clinic, uniforms, and general business.

Again we are offering the lottery calendars as a fundraiser or you can opt out and pay a $50 fundraiser fee. This calendar fundraiser has been a very good event for the association, many parents find them easy to sell. Calendars will not be available after March 1^st, this is the deadline to have them returned to the Schuylkill Valley Library.
